Missed calls turn into conversations.
Two modules for a heating company whose owner is usually on a job: the missed-call text-back and the reply relay.
Missed-call text-back
When nobody can pick up, the caller gets a text within about a minute, so the conversation carries on instead of ending at voicemail.
A call at 7:42 pm
- You called (519) 555-0134. No answer.7:42 pm
Sorry we missed your call. Reply here and we will get right back to you.
Northline Heating & Cooling. Reply STOP to opt out.
7:43 pm
- 7:42 pmRang the owner's phone for 15 seconds. Nobody picked up.
- 7:42 pmMatched the number that was dialled to Northline.
- 7:42 pmRecorded implied consent: the caller contacted the business.
- 7:42 pmChecked consent and the per-caller limit, then queued the text with the opt-out line added.
- 7:43 pmSent. The text and its delivery are on record for the owner's dashboard.
Where it stops. Each business writes its own wording. A repeat caller is only texted a set number of times an hour, and anyone who has replied STOP is never texted again.
Owner reply relay
When the customer texts back, their message reaches the owner's mobile within seconds. The customer gets one acknowledgement a day, and the owner answers from their own phone.
They reply about the furnace
Sorry we missed your call. Reply here and we will get right back to you.
Northline Heating & Cooling. Reply STOP to opt out.
7:43 pmFurnace is running but only blowing cold air. Any chance someone can look at it tomorrow morning?
7:46 pmGot it - we will be in touch shortly.
Northline Heating & Cooling. Reply STOP to opt out.
7:47 pm- New conversation: (519) 555-0177
Hi, it's the owner at Northline. I can be there at 8 tomorrow morning. Is the thermostat set to heat?

7:58 pm
- 7:46 pmChecked the text for STOP first. It is a reply, not an opt-out.
- 7:46 pmRecorded the reply and refreshed implied consent.
- 7:46 pmForwarded it to the owner's mobile.
- 7:47 pmSent one acknowledgement. More replies today still reach the owner, without another one.
Where it stops. The owner replies from their own mobile, so the customer sees that number. Replying through the business line is not built yet. Photos are counted in the forwarded text rather than passed on.
They text STOP
Sorry we missed your call. Reply here and we will get right back to you.
Northline Heating & Cooling. Reply STOP to opt out.
Mon 4:13 pmSTOP
Mon 4:15 pm- Nine days later
- You called (519) 555-0134. No answer.Wed 10:03 am
- 4:15 pmHandled the STOP before anything else read the message.
- 4:15 pmRecorded the opt-out for every channel, text and email alike.
- 10:03 amMissed call from a number that opted out. The text-back was held back.
- 10:03 amListed on the owner's dashboard under Messages we did not send, as They opted out.
Where it stops. An opt-out covers every channel and every module at once. A later call or web form does not undo it; only fresh express consent does.
Run this on your own line.
We connect it to your business number, write the wording with you, and test it together before anything goes live.
